Nadra Card NICOP/POC /FRC
Please read the following instructions carefully before you proceed with NADRA Card appointment. Every applicant including children has to physically visit NADRA office in all types of applications.
SMART NATIONAL ID CARD (SNICOP) INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINE
A: For fresh
Registration/First Time SNICOP, following documents are required:
- Birth Certificate having both parents name
(original and photocopy).AND
- Photocopy of recent S/CNIC – S/NICOP
of Parents. In case Parent/s are not card holder then S/CNIC – S/NICOP of siblings
(with same parents name). It is Mandatory to bring any one
of the parents / sibling (holding Nadra Card and Aged above 18) along
with the applicant for Biometric verification.AND
- Valid
Foreign Passport OR Pakistani passport
with valid visa on it (original and photocopy)OR Resident/work Permit (original and photocopy).
Note:Minors who are born abroad can be exempted from
passport up to the Age of 03 years.AND (If applicable)
- For
marital status other than Unmarried i-e married/divorced/widow, relevant
documents/certificates/Court decree (Original & Photocopy) AND Spouse ID. (Spouse ID can be spouse S/CNIC – S/NICOP
card if he/she has or otherwise Spouse Passport or POC).
Note: In case of Islamic Marriage/Divorce then certificate should be issued
from a registered mosque/institution with authorized stamp and signature or
should be verified by sharia council.
Note: Both Parents marital status
should be married in their NADRA record before children apply for their Nadra
Card.

B: For Renewal/Reprint
of S/NICOP following documents are
required:
- Applicant’s S/CNIC-S/NICOP (Original and
Photocopy) or NADRA card number/Copy in case of lost. In lost cases where
card number is also not available then please bring any of your
Parent/Spouse/Sibling whose card you have provided while making your
previous NADRA card to office for tracing the number through their family
tree. AND
- Valid Foreign passport OR Pakistani passport with valid
Resident Permit. (original and photocopy).
Note:In case any modification is required during Renewal/Reprint application
then applicant will have to provide relevant documents. Like if applicant wants
to update his Marital status during Renewal/Reprint then he will provide documents mentioned in
Para C.

C: For Modification of
Marital status in S/NICOP following documents are required:
- Applicant’s S/CNIC-S/NICOP Original or Copy/number
in case of lost.AND
- Valid Foreign passport OR Pakistani passport with valid
Resident Permit. (original and photocopy).
- For marital status as married/divorced/widow,
relevant documents/certificates/Court decree (Original & Photocopy).AND Spouse ID. (Spouse ID can be spouse S/CNIC –
S/NICOP card if he/she has or otherwise Spouse Passport or POC).
Note:In case of Islamic Marriage/Divorce
then certificate should be issued from a registered mosque/institution with authorized

Note: While changing Marital status to
Married/Widowed, Female applicants can opt to print their Father name on card
instead of Husband name. To use this option they have to inform the official
during Data Entry of application at office.

D: For Modification of
Address in S/NICOP following documents are required:
- S/CNIC-S/NICOP Original or Copy/number in case
of lost.AND
- Valid Foreign passport OR Pakistani passport with valid
Resident Permit. (original and photocopy).
- For UK Present address change, no document is
required. Permanent address of Pakistan can be changed according to
Parents/Siblings/Children/Spouse NADRA cards OR according to Property document in name of
applicant/Parents/Spouse OR
Utility Bill of required Pakistani address in name of applicant.

PAKISTAN ORIGIN CARD (SPOC) INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINE
POC can be applied through Pakistan Consulate Bradford NADRA office now.
Apply for this card if you are a foreigner with annulled Pakistani nationality
or born to parents who have previously held Pakistani nationality or you are
Foreign Spouse of a Pakistani and you or your Parents are not a citizen of India/Bangladesh/Israel/Afghanistan
or any other country in List B.

A: For fresh Registration/First
Time POC card, when you are Ex-Pakistani following documents are required:
- S/CNIC or S/NICOP or Pakistani Passport of
applicant (original & photocopy).AND
- Valid Foreign Passport (Original & Photocopy).
Note: S/CNIC-S/NICOP shall be cancelled first under Nationality surrender
category.

B: For fresh Registration/First
Time POC card, when you are Foreign Spouse of a Pakistani following documents
are required:
- S/CNIC or S/NICOP or POC of Pakistani Spouse (original & photocopy).AND
- Valid Foreign Passport of Applicant (Original
& Photocopy).
- Marriage Certificate and declaration of
Pakistani Spouse on separate
Undertaking as per format.
- Biometric verification of Spouse.
Note: Bangladeshi Citizen
is not eligible for POC. Cases where Spouse belongs to one of list B countries
will be issued POC after verification from MOI. Pakistani Spouse should have
Foreign Spouse name in his/her NADRA card.

C: For Renewal/Reprint
of S/POC following documents are
required:
- Applicant’s S/POC (Original and Photocopy) or
S/POC number/Copy in case of lost.AND
- Valid Foreign passport (original and
photocopy).
Note:If POC was issued before year 2008 then
all relevant documents of fresh registration will be required..

General Notes:
- Physical presence of every applicant including
children is required at office in all types of applications. Photo for
NADRA card application is captured in office through our cameras so
printed photos are not required.
- For change in name, parents name, Date of
birth, any other change or special case of S/NICOP or S/POC, it is
recommended that before booking an appointment, discuss the details by
visiting the NADRA section in Pakistan Consulate Bradford or through email
at bradford.nadra@gmail.com
- After capturing of applicants data at NADRA
office, a form will be provided for verification of data by the applicant
and attestation. In case of any mistake in the form, please notify the
officials for correction before signing & submission of the form. If
any correction/modification is intended after the submission of the form,
the applicant will have to repay the fee.
- Attestation of form is mandatory for all
applications. Any person (except applicant himself/herself) having
NICOP/CNIC/SNICOP and Age 18 or above can attest application form but
physical appearance of any blood relative will be appreciated for
attestation of ID Form.
- Once applicant initiates his/her application
at office and gets form for verification and provision of required
documents, he/she has 03 months’ time to submit the form back at office
with complete documents. Otherwise from will get expire and applicant will
have to reapply with new fee.
- If applicant is alone in his/her family tree,
then CNIC/NICOP/SNICOP photocopy of parents OR real
siblings (above 18 years of age) will be required.
- If Father, Mother and Spouse of applicant are
NADRA card holder then it is recommended to provide their copies of NADRA
cards so that their Identity numbers can be added in the application and
proper family tree is formed in NADRA record. This applies to fresh
registration applications and only for those renewal/modification
applications where Parents and Spouse are not already registered in
applicant’s family tree in NADRA.
- Original CNIC/NICOP will be defaced and
returned to applicant for disposal. If original S/CNIC, S/NICOP not
available, then applicant has to submit system generated undertaking with
signature.
- Cards are normally delivered to the Present
address of the applicant. In cases where card is delivered to the
Consulate office due to non delivery or due to any other reason then
applicant has to collect card from the office within 15 months from the
application time. Otherwise card will be destructed and applicant will
have to apply for reissuance of card after paying new fee.
- Validity of S/NICOP card is 10 years for
applicants having age above 15 years. For under 15 applicants the validity
of S/NICOP is either up to their age of 18 years or 10 years whichever is
less.
- Succession applications can only be initiated from Pakistan by a
legal heir. Previously when the Succession application gets initiated in
Pakistan then for the remaining legal heirs who reside in UK the facility
of providing the consent through Succession Biometric verification was
available at the Consulate. Currently this facility has been suspended at
the Consulate and legal heirs can only provide Biometric verification
through the NADRA website (id.nadra.gov.pk).
- NADRA section in Consulate does not have any
facility of Biometrics verification for Vehicle transfer, Bank account, Arms License, Pension projects of Pakistan.
- Applicant may be asked for additional documents at any stage, if required.

Note: Above mentioned times do not apply to
applications which are placed in verification due to any reason at any stage.
It is always advised to only book tickets after you receive your card. |
Note: An additional £10 charge will apply on above-mentioned fees
on all NADRA applications submitted during NADRA Mobile Registration Team
Visits (Surgery) on Weekends. At Surgery Fee will be accepted by Credit/ Debit Card
only but only in case when Card machine is not working Cash payment will be
accepted. All above fee include £3 Bank
charges & delivery charges.
